My family and I love being in and around all thing water. We have been really lucky to live near water and be able to explore so many cool places all around Portland and beyond. When my wife and I first got together, we lived in Willard Square in South Portland, Maine and had two dogs who also loved the beach, the boat, and water. They were the inspiration for this company. We hope that by providing you with the gear, you will be able to get out and make lasting memories.

We love to explore and some of favorite paddling spots include:

• Riding the tide out on the Spurwink River and then hanging at Higgins Beach until the tide comes back in!

• Putting in at Southern Maine Community College and paddling out to Fort Gorges in the middle of Portland Harbor. The kids love to explore the old fort and the views are unbelievable.

• Kayaking out into Portland Harbor and going around some of the islands. The slower pace allows you to take in all of the sights. Make a special stop and see what each island offers like ice cream and yummy treats!
